Hollywood actress Sharon Stone had told of her joy at adopting her new baby son and declared: "Single women can do it all."

The 47-year-old divorcee announced this week she had adopted a child and named him Laird Vonne Stone.

She already has a four-year-old son, Roan, whom she adopted with her ex-husband, newspaper editor Phil Bronstein.

"The only thing better than one is two," she said during an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
