Adoption-net has been nominated in this years Newspaper Society New Media Awards.

This annual event attracts 100's of entries from the best electronic publishing and newspaper projects throughout the UK.

Over the past year Adoption-net has undergone many developments including the addition of child profiles, search facility and a database of social services departments throughout the UK. In August alone the site recorded 58,969 page impressions and 11,259 individual visits.
