News@www.adoption-net.co.uk Story published on October 21, 2002 Angelina to live in Cambodia Hollywood star Angelina Jolie took a break from filming to visit a de-mining training centre in Mid Cheshire. The actress who plays Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider film, became a patron of the Adopt A Minefield charity when she was filming in war-torn Cambodia three years ago. Angelina, who recently split from her actor husband Billy Bob Thornton, is now building a home in Cambodia, where she and her one-year-old adopted son Maddox will live for part of the year. She met children from Lostock Gralam Primary School, near Northwich, when she visited the training centre, which is run by the Mines Advisory Group on the site of a former chemical plant. One pupil, Megan Morrell, aged nine, said: "Angelina was lovely. She was helping us learn about landmines."
