My Husband and I have been married for nine years, we had three IUI's the last being two years ago, we have unexplained infertility. We decided to go for adoption as we wanted to give a child a good start in life and loads of love and care. We have so much love to give.

My name is Jacqueline my Husband's name is Alan, I am 33, Alan in 41. We were approved as adopters on 25th September 2002 and like Susan we haven't heard anything yet.

Every time the phone rings I anticipate it being someone telling us that they have found a possible match, however, unlike Susan we haven't been appointed an adoption worker yet.

We have two cats, both beautiful, in fact one has just told me that she is hungry so I will have to go soon. I have started a little book, "Now the waiting begins" to show our baby when they are older. (We have been approved for a baby of either sex up to 12 months).
