Christmas gifts for needy children can, from November 4 to December 13, be handed into central reception at County Hall, fire stations, police stations, post offices and libraries in Nottingham.

The county's social services department wants to provide presents for thousands of children and teenagers across Notts who might otherwise get none.

They include children with hearing and sight problems, physical disabilities or learning difficulties.
