Mr Kilshaw and his wife Judith adopted babies Belinda and Kimberley but he will now face allegations of financial irregularity at his practice, which he operated from home. The hearing, which will take place in London, will take place on July 23. The twins were adopted in December 2000 but were forced to hand the children back the following month. The legal battle that followed caused huge debts for the Kilshaws, which resulted in Mr Kilshaw being declared bankrupt.
