A family has disappeared after a court order was served to take their children into care.

Tara Dalton and Jason Patmore, both from Essex, have gone missing with both children, Jason and Sheree.

A police spokesman said that the children should have been returned to social services on the 19th February at 12.30pm. This deadline passed and they have not heard from them since.

Social services say they are concerned for the well-being of the two children and are appealing to the parents to come forward.
