A drop-in centre is planning a drive to find more foster carers.

The center, at Brook Street Hall, Sutton-in-Ashfield, also has information and advice on welfare rights, meals-on-wheels, benefits and housing in the area.

Notts County Council, which has an information board at the centre, is keen to recruit foster carers to provide safe and secure homes for children with family difficulties.

Anyone can apply, as continuing support and training is given, along with a basic allowance to cover the cost of caring for a child.
