A Romanian orphan has won £2,300 on the lottery, enough to buy a flat and second-hand car.

Cristian Chiurta had to sell some of his clothes to buy the ticket for the Romanian lottery.

The local newspaper reported that Cristian, 18, hadn't won anything in the past and always wanted to win enough money to get him started in life.
