Justice Minister Jim Wallace will launch Disclosure Scotland today, a service that will make criminal record checks available to organisations working with children and vulnerable adults.

The system will allow organisations to make informed choices about who they employ while giving parents and relatives increased peace of mind.

Mr Wallace will be giving the main address at the launch. There will also be talks from the Chief Constable of Grampian Police and BBC Reporting Scotland presenter Jackie Bird.
