I would like to recommend the above book for anyone who is involved in the adoption triangle.

It will revolutionise the way you think about adoption, with information about psychology, attachment, bonding and loss. It clarifies the effects of separation from the birthmother on the adopted child.

In addition it gives those children whose pain has long been unacknowledged or misunderstood validations for their feelings, as well as explanations for their behaviour.

I am an adoptive Mum and I found this book invaluable. My children were on every page, I learnt so much. It was easy to read in fact it was so amazingly accurate I could not put it down.

It would also be useful for prospective adopters, and will help adopted children connect with their feelings. A brilliant read.
