Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity is appealing to local people to use its e-mail Christmas cards and help raise £100,000.

All you have to do is log on to www.merrychristmas.co.uk and pledge £5.

You can then use the service to e-mail charity Christmas cards to your friends and relatives.
