Last year, Cheltenham residents raised £8,749 for children's charity NCH, while £3,381 was raised in Cirencester and £2,865 in Tewkesbury. In all, £49,293 was contributed by county fundraisers, which will help support young people leaving care, children with disabilities and families in crisis. Deryk Mead, the charity's chief executive, said: "We thank the people of Gloucestershire for their support over the last year. "Their generosity means we can continue to support the children and young people who need it the most. "The projects NCH run go a long way to changing lives and giving young people the opportunity to really shine."
