Hendrix estate challenged

The brother of Jimi Hendrix, Leon, has begun a legal battle to claim what he believes is his share of the rock legends estate.

Hendrix died more than 30 years ago and, following his death, his father, Al Hendrix, controlled his affairs but following Al's death in April all control of the Hendrix legacy went to his adopted daughter.

Janie Hendrix now controls Experience Hendrix LLC and the Hendrix estate, which is worth at least £100 million.

Leon Hendrix, a struggling musician and artist, filed the lawsuit in Seattle claiming that the will and trust are invalid because Al Hendrix signed them after being influenced by Janie.
