Bromsgrove Carnival was the unusual venue for the Worcestershire's County Council adoption and fostering team's in a bid to boost the number of carers in the region.

Social workers gave up their weekend to answer questions that people had concerning fostering and adoption.

The council is trying to recruit at least 40 more fostering families to offer at least 54 new placements. It needs foster placements for children of all ages, particularly brothers and sisters.
