News@www.adoption-net.co.uk Follow Your Heart by Lori Paris When a young woman discovers she was adopted as an infant, she makes a bold decision to seek out her birth parents. Little does she realise how it will change her life forever. This recently published novel is mainstream fiction with a strong romantic element. Based on actual events, it has received some terrific reviews. Lynne Barry, author of Puddles, writes:
The subject of adopted people wanting to discover who they are is near and dear to my heart, as I adopted my daughter when she was five and in the last year and a half have witnessed the mixed bag of emotions she, and all involved, have experienced in her discovery of her past. Paris tells a fabulous story about a twenty-one year old who finds out she is adopted and sets about to connect with her birth relatives. The dialogue is current and believable, the descriptions so well written I was lost in the storyline and felt as I was Alice falling through the mirror and had been transplanted right in the made up plot. I can see this as a big screen movie or TV mini series. Outstanding." Dave Baughn, a reader from Minnesota, writes:
Born and raised in Southern California, Lori Paris attended the University of Santa Barbara. Lori now lives in Lake Tahoe with her husband and children. Follow your heart is her first novel.
