A course on child care and education is being held in Tewkesbury for the 10th year running. The Gloucestershire Playgroup and Toddler Association is running a 35-week course on parenting skills and early years care and education.

Although the venue is still to be confirmed around 20 people are expected to take the classes when they start next month.

There are no entry requirements for the course, but organisers say it is helpful to have some experience in playgroups, nurseries or toddler groups, as a parent, volunteer helper or member of staff.
