Beaumont Leys library is hosting an event for fostered children and young people on April 4, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

An activity session organised by the libraries service and the social services fostering teams will launch an activity pack for fostered children.

The pack gives information on available library services.

Paul Gobey, libraries' children's manager said: "Sometimes foster carers are unaware of what is available at their local library for their children.

"This activity session aims to raise awareness with the children and their carers."
