The road was a long one
for almost 20 years we trod that road
step by step, turn by turn

At times we got lost,
at times there were tears and anguish,
but always there was hope
hope that we would find our destination

Then when it looked as if we were lost
one day, we found our rainbow
a tiny little person, arms outstretched and wide
our little miracle, our little treasure
we found our pot of gold

At times we could not go on,
a brick wall was faced
determination saw us through
and we did find the end of the road

Never, ever give in....
always follow your heart
if you want your dream bad enough
you will beat all obstacles in your way

Go with your heart...
you will find your rainbows end.
