Chester Diocesan Adoption Services (CDAS) is to adopt a new name - Adoption Matters

This new name sums up the important work that the agency performs in just two words

Chief executive, Norman Goodwin, spoke of the reason for the name change: "CDAS has always covered a large area, including Cheshire, however because of the emphasis on Chester in the title many people naturally believed that we only offered services to people in the city."

CDAS has placed 2,500 children with families across the north west and was established in 1955. They can be contacted on 01244 390938.
