The review highlights the challenges and achievements of the charity in the year 2000 - 2001 and outlines Barnardo's aims and priorities for the next five years. The review includes positive case studies of just a few of the 91,800 children, young people and families that Barnardo's has worked with over the past year and the difference that Barnardo's has made to their lives. The year's fundraising successes are pictured and there is praise from young people for the creation of the Barnardo's Voice Initiative, an innovative scheme which seeks the active participation of young people in changing and improving Barnardo's services. Income for the year totalled a record £143 million. A financial summary illustrates the breakdown of
Barnardo's income and expenditure and finally thanks all supporters and donors for their continued support.
