The annual meeting for the National Organisation for Counselling Adoptees and Parents will take place in Leeds on October 27.

The charity offers help and support to those that are adopted, relatives of adopted people and adoptive parents.

It also endeavors to help people who have been fostered or brought up in care, to find their blood relatives.

It has the UK's largest adoption contact register, and employs skilled staff to advise on a host of important and delicate adoption issues.
