Coronation Street is said to be planning to kidnap plot involving foster carers Roy and Hayley Cropper.

According to the News of the World the couple are set to go on the run with a foster child 12-year-old Wayne, who they used to care for, to save him from his abusive stepfather.

The episodes are said to be planned for next month. Initially, Roy attempts to bribe him with £5,000 but when that doesn't work the couple start scheming a plot to disappear with Wayne.
