Nottinghamshire County Council has presented 150 social services staff with their training qualification diplomas at a special ceremony in Nottingham.

More than 80 passed NVQs in either catering, management and administration, residential child care or adult care 12 received their Diploma in Management Studies and nine their social work post qualification award.

Stuart Brook, Director of Social Services, said: "This is a real achievement for social services - to have so many people being successful is wonderful. We are determined to increase the number of staff with relevant qualifications."
