Plea over missing foster girl

Police are appealing for help to trace a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from her foster home for more than a month.

Danielle Huggins (pictured) was last seen leaving her new foster home in Southwark Path, Basildon, on March 31. She had only been at the home for one day.

She left the house saying she was going to meet her father in Barking and would be back the following day.

The police said that when she failed to return her foster parents contacted social services and the police.

But despite searches, in Barking and the Southend area, where the teenager has friends, neither Danielle or her father have been found.

Danielle is 5ft 3ins, slim with shoulder-length straight fair hair. She has a pierced tongue and pierced belly button and was wearing beige Burberry hipster trousers and a blue denim jean jacket.

Anyone with information should call Basildon police on 01268 532212.
