News@www.adoption-net.co.uk This story published May 19, 2001 Excluded pupils get more support Cumbria County Council has appointed three new staff to help pupils who have become teenage mothers or been permanently excluded from school. The reintegration officers for the north, south and west of the county will work with schools and other agencies such as social services to help get teenage mothers and excluded pupils back into full-time education. Linda Rundle, senior education officer, attendance and exclusion, said: "A great deal of good work is being done in local areas and the reintegration officers will build on that."
