The daughter of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em actor Michael Crawford put on her father's famous beret this week to raise money for abused children. Mother-of-two Lucy, 33, with a group of her friends, dressed as Crawford's comedy creation Frank Spencer to publicise their bid to raise £25,000 for the actor's favourite charity, the NSPCC. The team will be running the London Marathon next month in costume. Aromatherapist Lucy said: "I hope people will recognise the character and will cheer us on. Dad's been absolutely brilliant. He's a great support and I can't wait to run as Frank." She said that certain events in her father's childhood had been turned into "positives" by his work for the NSPCC. Last year Michael Crawford, in his autobiography, Parcel Arrived Safely: Tied With String revealed for the first time about being bullied at school and being physical abused by his stepfather.
