News@www.adoption-net.co.uk This story published March 23, 2001 'Help end my 15-year search' A woman is appealing for help to end her 15-year search for her long-lost adopted sister. Sharon Kyprianou was not seen her sister Michelle, who was adopted by a Nottingham family, for 25 years. Mrs Kyprianou, born Sharon Barrellie to mother June and father Charles (also called Wayne) began searching in 1986. "Before my sister was adopted, when she was between nine and 12, we were all living at 61 Barley Lane, Hastings," she said. "I would dearly love to see her again and I have thought about her every day. There were 12 children in our family, but Michelle was the only one to be adopted." Anyone who can help reunite the sisters is asked to contact the Nottingham Evening Post newsdesk on 0115 9482000.
