Searcher Joan Allen's weekly column - Joan's People - on tracing missing relatives which appears in the Bristol Evening Post I work voluntary and my time is given freely but I do expect that my expenses are covered when I carry out a search. I am also looking for sponsorship to help with the cost of my telephone bills. I respect the wishes of all par ties concerned in relation to any of these messages. Adoptee search for (birth name) Mark William X born 15.7.63 in Mary Stanley's Nursing Home in Bridgwater. Mark stayed with his birth mother for nine months. Adopted through Taunton Juvenile Court. Birth mother, Thelma, and sisters wish contact if possible. MICHAEL ANTHONY X. Do these details ring a bell? Adoptee search for (birth name) Michael Anthony X dob 20.11.58 or 20.10.58. Was in a mother and baby hostel on Snowdon Road, Fishponds, for three months with birth mother. Birth mother, Miranda June X, and half sisters wishing contact if possible. ZOE MARIE X. Zoe Marie was born 27.6.72 in Bristol Maternity Hospital and was adopted by two teachers in Bristol. Mother Margaret and sister would love contact if possible. CHARD, Hilary Dagmar (maiden name), who lived on Devonshire Road in 1965 with Robert H and Janet M White. If anyone can help me locate Robert and Janet they may know where Hilary is. Darren is searching for you. GARBUTT, Daniel Jason and Kelly Marie (birth names). Believed that the first names haven't been changed due to the fact that they were adopted/fostered as toddlers. Their birth mother has been searching for years for news of her children to no avail and just wants to know they are alive, well and happy. If there is a possibility of having contact with her children she would be over the moon. HUGHES, Margaret Ann (maiden name) born approx 1921. Worked as a domestic in various nursing homes and possibly Colston School. Addresses known: Avonleigh Nursing Home, Stoke Park; Iddesleigh Road, Redland and Bellevue Crescent, Clifton. Also her friend John Patrick FLEMMING who at one time also lived at Avonleigh Nursing Home and was a lorry driver. Searcher daughter Margaret (now) Bryant.
