A new website giving parents tips on how to bring up their children was launched this week to coincide with Child Safety Week.

Childalert.co.uk was founded by Clare Scott Dryden, who said: "When I had my daughter Isabella, I found a wealth of child care information from my GP, parenting magazines, books, friends and newspapers but I often found it confusing and rather overwhelming.

"I wanted to bring all the information out there under one roof and make it easily accessible. I really wanted to focus on child safety issues as well."
