Little Girl Lost, a 1988 movie, stars Tess Harper and Frederic Forrest as the foster parents of a five-year-old girl. They launch a battle with the authorities to adopt the child after learning that her father is abusing her. It also stars Patricia Kalember and Marie Martin and is screened at 3.35pm. Meanwhile on Wednesday, Radio 4 broadcasts a 15-minute programme at 3.45pm about an adoptee, fathered by an American GI, who traces her biological parents.
