Channel 4 have had exclusive access to the Kilshaws, and have produced a film that offers a warts-and-all look at the personalities behind the lurid headlines.

In the amazing behind-the-scenes footage, filmed at the height of the controversial adoption, the couple's marriage looks to be at breaking point as they try to cope with the intense media coverage surrounding the case.

In some astonishing scenes littered by obscenities, Alan, clearly fed up by his wife's ferocious rants, tells her he's sick of the whole episode and wants to leave her.

The Channel 4 documentary, Meet The Kilshaws, has exclusive footage of the controversial pair as they move from one hotel to the next in their fight to win back the twins and gives an amazing insight at the characters at the centre of what became a global soap opera.
