Agencies meet to improve services

Various agencies that work with children and families have met to discuss ways of improving services in Richmond upon Thames.

The aims of the meeting was to improve communication between the agencies and to reduce the duplication of work so that resources can be better targeted.

Among the agencies that attended were Homestart, Ginger Bread, Community Voluntary Services, the Citizen's Advice Bureau, health visitors, local schools, GPs, the Mortlake Under Fives and Family Centre, the Education Department, Children with Disabilities Team, the Child Protection Team and Psychological Services.
