Do you have a story or experience that you think other people would like to read about.

If so one of our sister website's is running a writing competition with a top prize of £1,000.

All you have to do is write up to 1,500 words on any experience in your life and then e-mail it to the TooWrite website.

The stories, which must be previously unpublished and based on fact, are welcomed from writers worldwide. The stories can be about any subject and the tone can be serious or light-hearted.

For example, you may have been through a particularly traumatic experience such as losing a loved one or been reunited with someone you have not seen for a long time. Or maybe something amazing has happened to you.

The article should be descriptive and illustrate the range of emotions you felt at the time. We want you to tell us your story. Real stories written by real people is what this site is all about.

The winner will receive £1,000 from Royal Mail, Derby. The first runner-up will receive a £65 Royal Crown Derby computer mouse paperweight and the second runner-up will be given a £65 computer equipment voucher from Staples, Derby.

The closing date for entries is November 7th, 2001.
