Pictures of the Cuban boy boy, Elian Gonzalez, playing happily on a beach with family and other children, have been shown on Cuban TV.

Two months after his return to Cuba, after a protracted custody battle in the US, Elian was featured in a two-minute clip on Cuba's state television station playing on an unindentified beach on an undisclosed date.

For seven months the boy was the subject of a highly publicised legal fight to keep him in the US with American relatives after he was rescued off the Florida coast while he and his mother, who drowned, were trying to flee Cuba.
