A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Acting upon information received from the News of the World, detectives arrested two women and three men from the Bradford area in connection with the sexual exploitation of young girls through prostitution." The five appeared yesterday before Bradford Magistrates, charged with a variety of offences. One, a 47-year-old woman, was charged with keeping a brothel and inciting a girl under the age of 13 to commit acts of gross indecency. Another woman, aged 23, faced charges of incitement. Both were remanded into custody for a week. Three men, aged 63, 49 and 44, were charged with committing acts of gross indecency. They were conditionally bailed until September 4. Three girls are now in the protection of Bradford social services. "Police are continuing their inquiries and further arrests are expected in due course," the police spokesman said.
