Adoption agencies have become increasingly aware of the importance of keeping brothers or sisters together.
It is hard enough being separated from your natural parents but then to be separated from your siblings is a double blow.
But placing groups of children for adoption is much harder and so agencies may show a degree more flexibility with applicants who want to acquire the instant family.
However, the agencies need to be satisfied that the applicants are up to coping with the extra demands that groups of children will place on a family.
