Founded in 2000, Adoption-net's objective is simply to provide a service that will encourage and inspire people to consider adoption and/or fostering.

The site is run by Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND), the online arm of the Northcliffe Newspapers Group, which publishes regional newspapers across the UK.

Adoption-net offers archived news, useful information on the adoption and fostering process, contacts, and links - offering readers information on organisations that offer various services to do with adoption, fostering and tracing.

We are not a registered adoption agency so we can't, for example, offer any kind of intermediary services, such as helping birth relatives gain contact with each other.
